Fall and winter is our busiest time delivering warm handmade items to all the community groups, schools, and medical facilities we partner with. Our staff and volunteers are getting everything sorted, packed up and delivered, to groups like The Gathering Place, Denver Health Newborns in Need, Women’s Homelessness Initiative, and many more. The current “most-needed” items are mittens, scarves, and warm hats.
Want to get involved? You can make any of the items these groups are requesting or help us make local deliveries. Did you know you can also request items (prayer shawls, Peace Pals) for loved ones in hospital, hospice, or facing other life challenges? Contact us: info@knitting4peace.org
