Kate Okojie is an interspiritual leader and transformation facilitator who consults with individuals and organizations to foster equity and ethics at the intersection of spirituality, social justice, and creativity. She has a Masters in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University focused on science, metaphysical/indigenous spiritualities, and pastoral care, and an undergraduate degree in Diversity & Divinity from Regis University. She has previously served as a hospital trauma chaplain at NYU and VCU medical centers, a chief of staff for two Colorado legislators, spiritual director of a church, and nonprofit founder/executive.
Kate has a diverse background with youth, including facilitating leadership conferences with LeaderShape, being a co-founder of the Colorado Student Power Alliance, working as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Denver Urban Debate League, and serving as PTCO President at her daughter’s elementary school the past two years. She’s mentored youth through Girls State and PeaceJam, and is certified in social permaculture design and Our Whole Lives sacred sexuality education. She has previously served in youth ministry at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood and Trinity United Methodist in downtown Denver.
