All Saints

We gather today at 10am, bask in each other's sacred company, and break bread together in communion. We'll center our worship service conversation around Micah 3:5-12. As we mark All Saints, we begin our service with settings of SINE NOMINE (“For All the Saints”) - a favorite way to begin every All Saints Sunday. Come join us in person or online!

If you can't join us in person, the service is available on Zoom, facebook and Youtube.

This short series helps children learn music skills, become acquainted with our English handbells, and prepare music for the Christmas season! These sessions happen after the worship service and during Adult Faith Formation. So parents, if you are joining us for that, we got your kiddos!

The November book club selection is: Wicked by Gregory Maguire.

Join us from 10:00 to noon in the Common Room. The prompt is: “Science may provide the most useful way to organize empirical, reproducible data, but its power to do so is predicated on its inability to grasp the most central aspects of human life: hope, fear, love, hate, beauty, envy, honor, weakness, striving, suffering, virtue.” by Paul Kalanithi from When Breath Becomes Air

Keep your writing to 500-ish words, and make sure your name and the date are on your submission.

On Thursday, Nov 19, we will host a peace concert in memoriam for the 168 victims of the US bombing of the Minab school in Iran on Feb 28th. The concert features the "Minab Lullaby" by American-Iranian peace activist Moji Agha performed by the Irthlingz Duo. Refreshments at 5:30; concert at 6:30; suggested donation $12.
