About the Music:
Some of today’s music might have been sung and heard during the early years of our church and was selected for that reason. The special music today is a movement from Mendelssohn’s famous oratorio, Elijah. The text and the music are both beautiful and hopeful. Our soloist is Eileen McCarron who sang both as a soloist and choir member for many years here at PHCC. She has worked tirelessly with gun violence initiatives. We are happy to have her here this morning. We will end our service with a verse of Marty Haugen’s “Let Us Build a House”. What a wonderful song to lead us into our Semi-Annual meeting!
