Scripture: Matthew 3:13-17
Join us this Sunday @ 10am as we continue our theme of Inherent Belovedness centered in the Matthew 3:13-17 text. It is also MLK Sunday, and we welcome Rev. Dr. Jenny Whitcher who will be speaking in Pastor Larissa’s place while she is on parental leave. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch on YouTube, Facebook, or Zoom.
Sunday’s music celebrates the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King. In addition to a couple of Dr. King’s favorites, you will be able to sing two of the songs associated with the Civil Rights Movement as well as a congregation favorite, “This Little Light of Mine”. The postlude will be a recent piano setting of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” arranged by M. Roger Holland II. Dr. Holland is the Music Director at People’s Presbyterian Church and is on the faculty of the University of Denver, directing the Spirituals Project.
After the worship service, there’ll be an all-church budget meeting in the sanctuary and on Zoom. Please plan to stay after and join us with your feedback on our 2026 budget which will be presented at the meeting.
