multigenerational Minister

Overview: The Multigenerational Minister is a key position to guide the new small group church families program, which serves the church’s community-focused God-sized dream.

Terms of Employment: This is a part-time – 8 hours per week, Hourly (2026 - $40/hr)

Reporting To: Pastor

Direct Reports: None

Responsibilities:

Depending on congregational needs, organizes and provides resources for generational, affinity-based small groups, such as: 
Teens 
Young Adults 
Families with Children
Empty Nesters
Middle-Aged Adults 
Grandparents
Elders 
Present every Sunday to participate in worship
Participates in weekly supervisory and monthly staff meetings 
Organizes and leads semi-annual intergenerational social gatherings 
Coordinates and participates in the integration of program into worship as needed
Organizes volunteers for program
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
Theologically trained to meet needs of multiple generations with deep thoughts and questions
Experience working with volunteers
Familiarity with how a mainline church works is a plus
Strong team player with the rest of the staff and congregation
Committed to the church’s vision, leadership, and people
Dependable, responsible, self-motivated, organized, and creative
Pass criminal background check
